The United Arab Emirates is a perfect place if you are looking for a luxurious vacation full of experiences that you can only live in a city of this type. If I had to define tourism in Dubai with children, or without them, I would do it in three words: luxury, skyscrapers, and shopping.

Do you want to know what places I recommend you to visit if you decide to travel with your children in the coming weeks?

Well, read on because wondering what to see in Dubai is the most common when it comes to a trip of the following characteristics.

Tips for Traveling to Dubai with children

Not everyone dares to spend a vacation in Dubai with children, but the most daring tourists should know some basic information and tips for traveling to Dubai.

What to see and do in Dubai with children

You can talk about many places to see in Dubai, but I was amazed by the first one: the Burj Khalifa, the largest building in the world.

Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall

It is an impressive 828-meter-high skyscraper that will leave you speechless, whether you see it only from the outside as if you see it from the inside.

If you are looking to see the Burj Khalifa from the outside, the best place is without a doubt at the exit of the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping center in the world, perhaps while enjoying the water show that takes place in the fountain: a magnificent dance of water, colors and music, all synchronized to enhance the experience. It is something that I recommend almost as mandatory if you decide to visit Dubai with children.

Maybe what you want is to go to the top of the Burj Khalifa, something recommended if you are not scared of great heights. Well, the secret is to book online, so while you wait for the visit you can take a walk through the luxurious shops of the Dubai Mall, since the access is inside the skyscraper, on the ground floor.

The Dubai Mall is the perfect example of the luxury of this city. Here you can find from Dior stores to Manolo Blahnik’s store or La Follette Galleries. But there are not only shops, but there is also a huge aquarium inside with the longest tunnel in the world (you have to see how these people like to do everything in a big way).

Burj al Arab

The Burj Al Arab building is one of the icons of Dubai. It is a seven-star hotel inside  (yes, you read that correctly: seven-star hotel), unique in the world, which you can only enter if you have previously booked. It is the  Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, considered by the vast majority as the best hotel in the world.

If you are a lover of boats or you just want to see the Dubai coast from the sea, you can get on a boat and enjoy the breeze that accompanies the movement. And if you feel like it, and your budget allows it, there are boats that offer the possibility of dining on them.

If you are like me and you like to visit the Hard Rock in every city you visit, in Dubai, there is a wonderful one with several floors and with live performances. It’s not a tourist must-see, but if you’re a Hard Rock T-shirt collector freak, you already know you have a stop at Hard Rock Cafe Dubai.

Desert safari

Desert safari in Dubai is one of the best activities that you can do with your children. You can take a tour around the desert terrain. The experience is unique for children and adults. At the end of the tour, you can also enjoy a traditional dinner in the desert and a fun show full of color.
